This just lost a star cause it as difficult for me to get into. I topped afterwards the second chapter before the duel and I was but like 'I have other books to read that are due dorsum shortly to the library. I tin't spend fourth dimension on this.' Either way I decided to hunker down and get through it and I am glad. It did remind me of why I beloved SAO. It reminded me of what these character had to overcome to go to this point where they can play freely without fear. It was just good. Hope you savour it too. I was lucky enough to win this in the giveaways and I'm very happy I did, this mode of manga is very much my kind of manga compared to others. The action and sword duels are fun, the main character Kirito is like shooting fish in a barrel to get behind, and the world is interesting plenty to go on me wondering and keep me turning pages. In my own opinion I thought the storyline for sword art online kinda background information was a petty long it might be just for people who just started the series but it still took a large majority of the volume away. Information technology was kind of a refresher or only like a quick summary on the whole saga.

Me encanta este arco y no pude resistirme a comprar el manga cuando lo vi. Me ha encantado recordar estos personajes tan maravillosos. Asuma y Yuuki enamoran. Estoy deseando leer la segunda parte.

The back cover touts SAO's tagline: This might exist a game, but information technology's not something you play. Withal, this particular arc might be the closest to simply "playing" in the SAO franchise. There's no "game of death," no players forcibly trapped in a coma, no real world PK-ing. And that might just make this storyline the virtually relatable of the agglomeration. Asuna'south however showing some impressive swordplay, simply every bit she embarks on a new ALO quest with new friends, her struggles are shaping up to exist internal rather than external ones.

The Review

Mother's Rosary, like Progressive, is an Asuna-axial series in the Sword Fine art Online franchise. This story, notwithstanding, takes place well subsequently Aincrad. In fact, it takes identify later on the events of GGO. As such, we run across Asuna not as "The Flash" nor the dryad in distress at the top of the World Tree but every bit a teenage daughter living life in the real world.

Unfortunately, despite all it took to get her out of SAO and then ALO, Asuna doesn't return to a happily ever later. Certainly, she has Kirito's devotion, but his love isn't sufficient to erase her issues. Rather, some other person's lack of love threatens to negate the good in Asuna's life.

Enter Asuna's mom, otherwise known as the Queen of Tiger Moms. Y'all'd think that she'd have sympathy for a daughter that got trapped in multiple life/death situations and narrowly avoided an arranged marriage to a creepy psychopath. But no. Rather, she acts equally if the damage that their family unit's company suffered on account of Sugou'south diabolical scheme (in Fairy Dance) is Asuna's fault. While Mrs. Yuuki's a bit extreme in her lack of empathy, her insistence on decision-making every single aspect of Asuna's life is jump to strike a chord with a lot of readers.

As such, New Aincrad, which is based off the virtual world that once held Asuna convict, becomes her place of escape. Even so, she can't fully forget her issues, and the creators do a wonderful job at expressing her despair at the disparity between her real and online selves.

And that'due south the situation when a mysterious new duelist arrives in New Aincrad. Enticing other players to fight with the prize of an eleven-hitting original swordskill, Absolute Sword defeats all comers with ease. When fifty-fifty Kirito fails in his attempt, an intrigued Asuna decides to try the challenge herself.

Her reaction when she discovers Accented Sword is a cute girl is a bit overdone; after all, Kirito passed for a "cute daughter" in GGO. Merely so the narrative dives into the more important questions of why Absolute Sword is then strong and what she's trying to accomplish. Absolute Sword chop-chop decides to include Asuna in her plans, and while those plans don't require Asuna to put her life on the line, impossible is a pretty skillful descriptor for Absolute Sword's goal.

By the fashion, the artwork is done by Tsubasa Haduki, who produced the Fairy Trip the light fantastic toe serial. So if yous liked Haduki-sensei'southward fairy characters, you lot'll see a lot more in Mother'south Rosary, although they're at present flying against an Aincrad backdrop.

Extras include embedded Background Guide notes, actress episode, afterward manga, and the title page and table of contents printed in color.

So outset it starts off with them in a video game and it talks about their NerveGear. Then it goes to they get teleported to the main lesser floor and a night hooded figure appears and talks almost how their trapped. And then a quick summary is they're trapped inside the game called SAO. and so they accept to find a way out and if they die in the game they dice in the real world. And so they have to brand information technology to flooring 100 and beat the final boss to win the full game and go out.
The "theme" of this book is that usually when gamers play video games they have an entirely dissimilar personality and so in the existent globe. And even though difficult things will come your style you lot have to keep pushing through them in the end. And that cheating is not a proficient thing to do. On page 32 of Reki Kawahara's volume Sword Fine art Online Kirito says "There was none of Kirito's previous heroic await. The face up I saw in the mirror, was the real-face I'd been trying to escape." (138) "how could i describe it? A moment of fourth dimension stolen from me perhaps."
I really personally like the plot and how the book is. I as well similar the characters how they react at the beginning and how i can relate. I similar the way and how information technology is similar a video game. I don't similar on how it skips a huge part of the first year at the beginning. I besides don't like how information technology perspective of the other characters to Kirito.

I love that Asuna, using strategy, does improve at dueling Absolute Sword than Kirito did. Kirito is so powerful in the SAO series that sometimes I find it abrasive - and fifty-fifty in this volume, they kind of waffle about whether he was really trying his hardest against Absolute Sword (he didn't employ his dual-sword skill, for case). My total review of volumes 1-two is up at No Flying No Tights.
